Cookie notice
Version 2026-09-28, in force from 2026-09-28. Changed from version 2026-09: analytics cookies on the website, set only if you accept them.
Strictly necessary, always set
| Cookie | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in while you use the site | Until you sign out or it expires |
| Waiting room token | Holds your place in the queue when an event opens | The length of the queue |
| Cart reference | Remembers the entries you are busy with | 15 minutes, the length of a held place |
Your answer to the cookie banner is kept in your browser's own storage, so we do not ask again on every page.
Analytics, only if you accept
With your consent the website loads Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC, so we can see which pages are used, how people find the site and where it can be made faster or clearer. We look at the figures in total. We do not link them to your account or your entries, and the advertising features of Google Analytics are off.
| Cookie | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells one visit from another | 2 years |
| _ga_852FYH5SWZ | Keeps the state of the current visit | 2 years |
Google receives the pages you open, the site that sent you, your device and browser type, and an approximate location that Google works out from your connection. Google Analytics does not store your IP address. Google processes this in the United States; under section 72 of POPIA we rely on your consent and on Google's data processing terms. We keep analytics data for 14 months.
Until you accept, nothing is loaded from Google. If you decline, we do not ask again unless you open the cookie settings yourself.
Changing your mind
Choose "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent stops the analytics at once and removes the analytics cookies from your browser. The mobile apps use no analytics.
What we do not set
No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No device fingerprinting. Adverts on the platform are chosen by which page you are on, not by who you are, so they need no cookie of their own.
Your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in, and blocking the waiting room token means you lose your place in a queue.
